Realizing the importance of multilateral development banks (MDBs) in supporting the implementation of the CBD global biodiversity framework, the ACP MEAs 3 programme organized a breakfast meeting with senior officials of the MDBs in Montreal. With the participation of executive secretary to CBD, Ms. Elizabeth M. Mrema and colleagues from about twenty MDBs, the discussions focused on collaboration with UNEP on implementing the global biodiversity framework.
